Gynecomastia(Enlargement breast in men)

 

 

Gynecomastia is defined as an abnormal enlargement of one or both of the mammary gland in men.

 

Gynecomastia is due to the changes in the hormonal environment of man, substance abuse, αdrug and has incidence rates up to 40%, while in adolescents and touching 65%. This problem is now treated surgically and resolved permanently. The medical treatment is effective only in the initial stages of epithelial cell hyperplasia, and the results are poor in the later stages. The indications for surgical intervention are:

 

  • In adolescents with persisting swelling for 18-24 months
  • Symptomatic patients not responding to conservative treatment
    Prolonged
    Gynecomastia
  • leading to fibrosis and
  • In patients with Klinefelter syndrome and risk of developing carcinoma
  • The choice of the operational techniques to address are numerous depending on the degree of Gynaikomastia.
  • Subcutaneous mastectomy using liposuction (liposuction assistant)
  • Breast Reduction (III & IV grade)

 

 The surgical reconstruction of Gynecomastia may be performed under local anesthesia and general anesthesia. The method is determined by grade (grade). Immediately postoperatively, the patient will be wear elastic vest for 4-6 weeks and usually postoperative pain is well manageable with standard painkillers. Postoperatively, patients are thrilled with the result and repudiate, once and for all the embarrassment they possessed because once and for all the embarrassment they were possessed because of "femininity" in appearance, which caused them psychological and social problems.
